The Environmental Services Manager is a Botanist Specializing in Ecology. He also studied soil science. He is an Environmental specialist specializing in Bushveld savanna trees and grass management, controlling and eradication (by chemical and mechanical methods) of alien / invasive / encroaching plant species. Also being herbicide specialists. Creation and executing of chemical and mechanical fire-breaks. Mechanical removal of problematic trees, shrubs and grasses.

Vegetation Control cc. executes

  1. Land Rehabilitation and revegetation on disturbed mining sites, bushveld/savanna cattle and game farms. Also consulting and correcting the ecology on overgrazed areas.
  2. Also reinstatement of palatable plant species on mis-managed farms.
  3. Implementing and executing chemical and mechanical methods to eliminate bush encroachment.
  4. Also consulting on various erosion control practices.
  5. Constructing gabion structures to stabilize eroded sites and curb further erosion.
  6. Chemical eradication and control of exotic and alien invasive vegetation species.

Skills

Environmental Services Manager has graduate and postgraduate qualifications. Was a corporate consultant compiling various corporate guidelines, policies and standards. Has also given various papers at national and international conferences and was involved in various environmental study groups. Also registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific professions.
The Company also has in employment experienced ladies at management level executing orders, payments, paysheets, tender documentation, salaries etc.
The Company employs experienced supervisors executing the various above listed contract works.
We employ general labourers with many years’ experience.
The company has Certified Pest control operators.
